... for deleting his poll. He had obviously been trolling Coogfans and Cougarsden and saw all the hullabulllooo over a Fox 26 report that Maggard (the UH AD) was leaving. He came over here and posted a poll (that was very funny by the way) about the situation. I having been tired of seeing these deleted it unfairly. I ask OwlJacket to please forgive me.
By the way Maggard isn't leaving (for now), so I guess the total collapse of the UH program will not be happening for another couple of years. Even though most UH fans thought is collapsed on Sunday. :bang:

I don't think he was mad, just puzzled. If allowed, I'm guessing he'll re-post it. :D And if you'd rather it should go on the Rice board instead of over here, that's cool by me. (Lord knows the Rice board needs a little shot in the arm, esp. in a bye week.)
Glad to hear Maggard's not leaving. (He got Briles and he's keeping Noble happy -- dude's doing something right!) Plus, like I said, I should think he'd at least want to stick around long enough to see the Coogs lay a whuppin' on some Okies.

I wasn't trying to stir up anything regard Maggard, either. These rumors get started and have a mind of their own. (Though it did sound like he was pulling a Fran).. I was trying to head off this prettyricky 'you ai'nt got no smack' smack at the pass, though.

Hey I have a complaint about the MOB. No its not the GED show from a few years, but it does have to do with designs. When I watcha MOB show, I expect nothing of artistic value what was up with the designs on the field
I am sitting in my seat and all of a sudden the MOB is making designs in the field. A MOB is not supposed to do anything organized, next year I expect to see more of the usual MOB zaniness.
Also, I got the gist of the story, but I probably would have found it funnier if Reliant had a better PA system. Millions of dollars spent on the stadium and the PA system blows.
It would have been a far more enjoyable show if Reliant's PA system didn't blow so bad. They could have at least done closed captioning on the screen so we would know what the script was!
Of course before they spend a dime on that, they needed to spend a few hundred to open another gate or two to the parking lot and open a couple more ticket windows. I got to the exit for Reliant nearly three hours before the game and, if I hadn't jumped back on the freeway and gone to S. Main and come in from the west side, I think I might still be trying to get into the parking lot! . :bang: :mad: :bang: Several people that were meeting me there got in during the second quarter, complaining about spending two hours on the feeder road just trying to get parked.
Sure was glad to have tickets in my pocket already too. Those ticket window lines I saw were horrible! Here's to hoping that Reliant figures these things out before next year's game.
