Since we have to play UTEP again, I think we should learn from what SMU did to almost beat them last night. SMU played without their star, Hopkins and two other starters only played a little because they were injured. SMU played a 2-3 and 1-3-1 zone and almost beat UTEP!! Even though we may lose, I'm sure we don't want to lose by 30 points at home and playing a zone against them might give us a slim chance---are you listening coaching staff!! A zone is also the only thing to play against Nevada, as a matter of fact a sagging zone!!! Speaking of a zone, I have mentioned before most teams will play a zone against us if they have any brains at all, so we need to spend a great deal of time in practice playing against a zone---a majority of the time in practice!! Also against a zone, Price is a major liability because it almost eliminates his offense and the rest of his game is a liability to the team, so get him out when the other team plays a zone. As much as I hate to say it, Glenn could also be taken out when the other team plays a zone. His driving and one on one play doesn't do anything but end up in a T/O most of the time. I still think we'll beat SJSU, they are terrible, and Boise at home, plus we will win one other we are not suppose to!! You have to put the team in the best position to win and playing a zone in several games gives them a much better chance!!
