Found this picture at a College World Series site. Didn't know that Tulsa's team was good enough to go to Omaha; shame they disbanded it.

Before 2003, Tulsa had the most CWS wins of any NCUSA team, IIRC...

Back in the day...

Tulsa had one of the top baseball teams in the country for many years, and consistently ranked in the Top 10. Kind of like Rice is today. That was then and now as Edgar Allen Poe said "nevermore"

Tulsa baseball was a victim of Title IX.
