That Phillips is still driving this program into the ground 6 months after he resigned.
I stuck with the guy for a while but it is amazing how much damage he did.
Gonzalez, Tecihmann, Davis, Baker
4 Juco players that gave TU a total of 4 years of play. Horrible.
Kelley, Cardwell, Collins gone, McCoy, never made it.
It sure looks like they were scambling to save their asses and putting all their money in the hands of a bunch of flunkies at the academic bank.
As I have said, I thought Coach Woj might have an above average first year, 18 wins, if he recruited a Juco 3-point shooter, with Baker and Davis rebounding and scoring inside. Well, let's start my team all over again-----I don't even know where to start??? First I agree with some posters, I would schedule at least 10 OOC games against Grambling!!!

I guess if he gets at least one more really good JUCO we might actually win one game in CUSA next but I'm not taking any bets. Alot of new faces are going to get a lot of playing time, which normally doesn't bode well for Tulsa next year but down the road, it should pay off!! It could get very embarrassing on the CUSA board next year!!! Right now do we have anyone that knows what a rebound is??????? No rebounds=Dead Tulsa!! I am definitely looking at least 3 years down the road, which should mean we won't be changing coaches in a year or two, which ain't all bad-----I just hate to waste another year, especially our first in CUSA--we may never get on TV again, which isn't good for us out of towners!!!!
It does not take three years to rebuild.
With a good non conference schedule Tulsa gets it's self 7 wins right there. Add 3 in CUSA and there you have it.
I think double digit wins will happen, whether that is 10 or 15 remains to be seen. I like what Pooh was doing on the court with the team he had and expect Wojciks team to look better, even with 8 newcomers.
