Texan commits to Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The Tulsa basketball team has a verbal commitment from a Texas high school player.
Six-foot-8 forward Sean Coleman of Westbury Christian High School in Houston says he'll sign with T-U next week when he enrolls in summer school.
Coleman averaged 12 points and six rebounds game last season and would be the seventh newcomer to sign with new Tulsa head coach Doug Wojcik (WOE'-jick).

I was able to meet Sean while he was in Tulsa. Seems like a great guy (nice smile too).

I know a lot of people, myself included, wonder about players that commit this late. However, Kevin played pickup with Sean and says that he is the real deal. He can shoot, move, all around seems like a good catch for TU.

Comments? Thoughts?
You are making me feel better TUfan, first hand info from someone who knows is great!! You have to give Coach Woj credit, he knows what our weakness will be next year and is trying to do whatever he can to fix it. During the summer all these guys need to do is find a 12 year old to shoot the ball from 15 feet and rebound, rebound ---rebound!!! Maybe TUfan could provide them with a lot of rebounding opportunities if she was shooting!!!!!!! :D
I am a horrible shooter. The only thing I would help them with though is catching airballs. LOL! OK, I'm not that bad. Kevin helped me get better. I can shoot out to the free throw line, but that's it.

We have one more scholarship left I think, so we might be picking up one more.
