Wow, where have I seen this script before.

Coogs surprise national including Craig James and his yankee puppet with their talent and "ability to compete".
Coog's jump offsides alot.
Coogs drop passes.
Coogs tackle like the kid in little leauge playing for the first time.
Coogs get tired and quit.
Coogs begin to look like Prarie View in red jerseys.
Discipline is abandoned.
Coogs give up multiple touchdowns in the final minutes to preserve the impression of a blow out.

Is progress such a bad thing to expect? :bang:
What happened to our offense in the second quarter? Did Oregon change something or did we fall back into mediocrity?

Inquiring minds want to know 03-confused
When I was about to take off from O'Hare it was 21-17 at the half, by the time I landed in Houston though, 38 - 24....Coogs lost, again.

We fell back to mediocrity. How many changes can a team learning a new offense make at the half? Not many considering they're probably still learning from what failed in the first half. We left our defense in for too long in the 2nd half making us too tired too soon. Once again, our running game and offense in general did nothing in the 2nd half. Just like last year. I just don't understand it...there's always an excuse when we lose games. I watched part of the game later that night and the first half we played very well on both sides of the ball...but i didn't even watch the 2nd half, i was warned by several ppl not to view it.

If we play like this and don't get better as the season progresses, how are we going to get to CUSA's Championship game??? AAAHHHHH, we need a break!
I think the coogs played good against a difficult team. UH couldnt establish the run especially after Evans got hurt in the 2nd quarter, which really began to hurt the passing game.

Oregon made some great adjustments on offense at halftime and the 3-4 defense had too many holes in it. I was also frustrated when UH went for a 4th and 7or8 instead of kicking a 25 yard field goal that would have put us up 24-20.

I was very impressed with our o & d lines they played very well. The passing game was good, with the exception of several dropped balls but its hard to pass with no ground game.

This team will get better we had four starters that had never played in a college football game before, Ricky Wilson and Pope havent played in a game in 2 years bc of academic reasons. We also had a lot of injuries this preseason and once some of those guys get back this team will be gellin.

Dont freak out becasue we lost against a good team.

If we ALWAY'S lose to good teams what does that make us? Besides this isnt the same as us losing to Oklahoma last year, this was a winnable game that we gave away.

I understand what you are saying and understand how you feel. I was also very disappointed that we didnt win this game.

Honestly I think this team is much more talented and experienced than the 2003 hawaii bowl team and has a good shot at going 7-4 or 6-5 at the worst.

We be able to tell a lot more about this team in next 3 weeks after they play SHSU, UTEP, and Southern Miss.
