This had to be one of the most bizarre games that I have seen. Turnover, penalties poor execution etc....

Defense: I have to give the defense props. They played tough and was finally overwhelmed by poor field positioon set up by the dismal special teams play. In the first quarter they were all over the place and did an excellent job shutting down the run and putting pressure on Palmer. The second half we seemsed to loosen up our coverage and we couldn't get the pressure we got in the first half. The job they did on UTEP's high powered O making them kick 5 field goals have me feeling pretty positive about those guys right now.

Offense: Couple of freak mistakes. First interception and one of the funmbles and a buch of bad passes by Kolb. The offe3nsive line has got me scared. Especially with Southern Miss coming up next week. The play calling is still suspect but it did look a little better than it has in the past.

Special Teams: Sucked
