It's impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so damned ingenious.

When I lived at Twin Towers, back in the mid-80's, there was a student who would climb up or down from on balcony to another. It was insane that he didn't fall.

Kids do stupid stuff. I worked at Six Flags Over Georgia the year the Scream Machine opened. There were several of us that would ride it before/after the park was open and switch cars while the thing was running.
Young idiots.

Here in the lab, we have tried to develop foolproofing methods, but to no avail. Unfortunately, someone out there is breeding better fools.

No plan is foolproof to a sufficiently motivated fool.

Yeah, someone from the shallow end of the gene pool.

I'm no longer a roller coaster junkie but the thought crossed my mind about the restraint bars they use. Many have suggested seatbelts for school buses, but most feel they aren't practical. What about adapting the lap bars like those used on R-Cs? Would there be a way to make them adjustable so that three kids could be protected by one bar?

That would be funny if it weren't such a frightening prospect. Besides, I didn't know humans could reprodice asexually.

Nah, even Sax gets a crack at it once in a while. I'm sure there is some sort of female corollary to the thing where the women get better looking as it gets later and you get drunker.
'Course, then you get the female version of "coyote ugly", where she chews her own arm off in order to get out of bed and out the door without waking him... lmfao
What's the line from the old Willie Nelson song? "I never went to bed with an ugly woman but I sure woke up with a few..."
