fter rereading them all, it came down to Thread 1 - Inspiration vs. Thread 2 - Nostalgia.

I voted for 58-56's great posts about Eight Straight. Reread it before you vote. Reread it before every big game. Reread the seven straight in the same thread before the Memphis game next week.

Rev. 58-56's sermon got me riled up. That thread gets my vote.

While I agree that it is an inspiring thread, what the Kirk Tuck thread was all about was far more important -- it was, in my opinion -- the most important thread of the year. Since we don't have that category, I voted for it as best thread.

Not necessarily a thread but a series of thread, but if there was a nomination for best idea of the year, I would nominate Smaug's countdown during the summer. that was a lot of fun and got a lot of people through a long dry spell of blazer sports.

Hats off to the Gamecocks band, the ultimate thread without a doubt.

Popular in 2005, not that popular in 2006, just a few diehards that won't let it die.

Very good threads but the one that helped a family the most ended up winning. That was fitting IMHO..............
