EMU has a good chance to be 6 - 1 in November. 7 - 0 is possible but probably not likely.

The only difficult opponents are Oakland and Missouri State. Missouri State is tough and also a road game after the 3 games this weekend.

That game could be brutal.

EMU should be a solid favorite in all of the rest.

Heaven knows this would be a god send for this program.
I hope you're right Steve. It doesn't look like Rams signed anyone in the early period. Hm a guy mentioned by Steve Bell that might be interesting is Mott JC frosh Sam Burton from Oak Park who I believe plays point guard. It would be interesting to see how Rams plays his recruiting cards. A solid winning season for this team would only help recruiting.

How did we get from an easy early season schedule and a chance for a breakout start to recruiting?
Didn't soar tonight. I caught the video of the game on the Citadel site.

Citadel controlled tempo all night. EMU was atrocious with the trey in the 1st half.

Citadel had a few players who could really play, Well and Woolfinger (sp).

EMU still very athletic but couldn't get a fast paced game.
Oh well. Mens Basketball lost but the ladies won. Rough year for foot ball.
Steve,

Easy to see how they are connected. I'm hoping a breakout season will also lead the team landing some better prospects. Its easier to recruit when you have a winning program or the perception of the kids you want to recruit is that your program is on the upswing.

03-zzz Talking about stating the obvious.

We could have a recruiting comment in EVERY thread.
You asked.
I now have little hope of anything but a .500 season. If we where really a good team we should have beaten Citadel by 10 points. They are a mid level MAC team at best so this loss makes us a a midlevel MAC team as well.
