Last year, our most lop-sided loss in a season of lop-sided losses was at JU (0-52).
Shouldn't be as bad this time around.
Hope the Camels can finish the season on a positive note against a very good Dolphin team.
When I first joined this forum, I made some comments about Campbell winning 5 games this year, and was basically laughed off the site.... Well, I'm going out on a limb and state I believe the Camels will pull the upset and win this year.... Jacksonville just had a major win at home against an undefeated Butler team..... Camels are learning how to win, at home, Jacksonsville will have a let down, the moon is just right, and I just feel it! Hope they play well and get a win! That would go a long ways in the off season...
I am not sure about a win on Saturday. I hope it will be a lot closer than last year. I think we will do better than 52-0
There are four games we are capable of winning, Methodist, BSU, Valpo and Morehead State. We won three of those. Should have won BSU game.
My prediction is 3-8. Much better than 1-10. Maybe four to six wins next year. We are moving forward.
Well I was at the 52-0 shellacking last year (it was 45-0 at the half) Being as positive as I can be I hope the Camels stay within 21 points and if the do they have indeed come a long way
I would love to see us stay within 21. I think we are a much better team than last year and are much better conditioning than last year. I still think Jacksonville has better athletes but maybe our ball control offense can keep it close. Either way I am looking and hoping it is a closer game.
Heck we should be better than we were last year. This team is quickly becoming the most experienced team in the PFL. What was it Al McGuire use to say about freshmen at the end of the year, "they aren't freshman anymore" These guys a whole lot of them have been playing and practicing for 3 years now. It's time to shine. Next season there should be no excuse for not producing a .500 ball club, maybe better. But this isn't next year, but it's not last year either.

I think we have a legitimate chance at being a 500 ball club next year. We need to finish out this year on a positive note. Maybe not a win but we need to compete well and be in the game on Saturday. A win would be monumental for our program.
Much better than last year.
Still we should have been closer. If we would run the ball on 3rd and 2 twice instead of throwing two interceptions and if we would have blitzed and hit their quarterback all game not just in the 4th quarter it would have been a lot closer. I don't think Jacksonville was all that much better than we were. We were poorly coached in the game and made bad decisions.
Hats off to the offensive line. They did a good job today.
We should do well next year. If the coaches and their play calling and leadership will improve as much as the players effort had from last year. Pleased with the improvement this year. We could have done better but it is an improvement over last year.
I think we could have done better as well. We have much better players than we do coaches. Next year there is no excuse for not winning consistently. The young team excuse can no longer be used. Sure the team improved this season but improvement should be expected. I think we should raise our expectations for 2010.
Final grade for the program;
Offense - B+
Defense - C-
Special Teams - A-
Coaching - D+
Radio Broadcast Crew/Sports Information -A+
If each area raises their grade a letter grade , the Camels will go .750 next season in fact if the coaches make better gameday decisons the Camels are capable of competing for the PFL title.

Offense - B
Offensive Line - (Most improved area)
Defense - C
Special Teams - B
Coaching - E (Decision making not any better than prior year)
Radio Broadcast Crew - B
I was pleased with the progress of the program. I think there is no reason to think we can't win three or four league games next year. I think the nonconference schedule is going to be much tougher with two scholarship programs in Old Dominion and Georgia State. Hopefully we can keep it close with non-conference and sneak a win or two more over the conference.
Grades
Offense A
Defense D+ (still haven't been able to consistently stop the run or pass)
Special Teams B (our kicker is good but the return game leaves much to be desired)
Coaching C (we still make questionable decisions)
Biggest improvement this season was the offensive line. If the rest of the team can make a similar jump next year we should be at least a potential fourth place team in the league next year.
I really think that this team began to figure things out during the Dayton game. Other than the derailment that occurred at Drake, we were able to show glimpses of a team coming together. This was the only game that we were out of all year. Another off season of conditioning should bring six to seven wins next year.
For this year:
Offensive A- (Rushing A, Passing B) More downfield threats needed.
Defense C-
Special Teams A-
Overall: B
