That is impressive... But they have been a team that looks great one night and awful the next. I guess that is coaching? Not really sure... It is Tiger related in that we play them this year.

UT is legit this year. Let's see if they get past the sweet sixteen.

What's the big deal about talking about an upcoming opponent in a very unusual game? Utk ran off 20 points to start the game and at one point, the other team was 0 for 19. You don't see that every day. Though i do remember a 24-0 start to a game once.

Beating any Div 1 opponent by 75 is impressive. Their three point shooting is what impressed me more than anything, although UNCA didn't guard very often.

UTK does something crazy like this in the beginning of every season.

UNC-A started 0-19 from the field and didn't get a field goal until 3 something left in the first half according to Sportscenter.

It is also classless!

I've said this in previous Vol years that running up these types of score does nothing to improve a team. Instead of pressing the bejeesus out of a clearly overmatched team, utk shoul have been working on things that need improvement--half court sets, low post passes...things that will be needed against quality teams. Oh well, it looks good on paper I guess.

Usually college teams that score as high as UT did last night have some sort of problem and usually don't make deep runs in March. The problem is usually shooting too many 3 pointers, a tempo problem, or as Saluki stated, not working on things that need improvement. You can paint Arkansas' performance a few nights ago into the same box.
