Ok.. so I am at the bar yesterday getting my NFL fix on... when I see one of the TV's... no volume... displaying what looked like a college game day wrap up.... Lou Holtz was in a PITT uniform (likely a lost bet with Brian May)... and a WMU helmet was being held up and discussed.... anyone else see that? If so... what was it all about? By the time I flagged down someone to get some volume... the segment was over...

I didnt see it, but I'm guessing it was for Brandon West's new NCAA record.
BP, the team would does not continue to practice until after the bowl game, they take a couple of weeks off. I can check but I think they are limited to about three weeks of practice before the bowl game. Perhaps someone would check out the NCAA rules on that. The extra practice does help however as it is a time that the coaches would not normally have with the team.

Always proud to be a Bronco.
I think it was on college football final yesterday. I can only find this.

They never get to the giving out the helmets at the end, can anyone else find the ending?

I just sent a message to the guy who made that video asking him to post the part where they give out helmet stickers. He should have it since he blatantly skipped it.
Congrats to B.West. He has put together a solid year and deserves the record. Just think after next year a player from the MAC will break the all purpose yardage record two years in a row and the conference will be 1 and 2 in the All Time record books.
Just think, he could get injured or leave early and you'd even look like more of an idiot for predicting something and acting as if has already happened.
Anything can happen I suppose, at this point it seems likely. Assuming as you put it he doesnt get injured or leave early... Besides I came over to offer my congrats and show pride in the conference and you come at me with that?

I don't feel like looking any of this up...but how far away is AB from B. West's records? Just curious
Dont try to pass that off as congrats, not to mention you just jinxed your boy! Just remember it's all because of you.
Right now ABrown Has about 50 less yards then BWest did before this season started. I think he will finish with about 300-400 yards more this season if he continues his average plus anything he gets in the bowl.

Then again next year he might not have that great of a season either with Lefevour taking off. Anything can happen.

I rememeber after the 2007 Iowa game...Lou Holtz gave Tim Hiller a "helmet sticker" for his performance...however, Lou called him "Tim Hiker"...I've been calling him Tim Hiker ever since
Here's a better link with the stats.

Brown has only 1300 yards less than West today for their careers and Brown might have 4 more games this season to West's 1. Assuming he doesn't go to the NFL or get injured, he should break West's record around CMU's 5th or 6th game next season.

Perhaps a timely injury will be in the making. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!04-cheers
Antonio Brown is a decent player, no doubt about that.

To have #1 and #2 from the MAC would be outstanding if it turns out that way.
