I see that Alex had two offensive rebounds, tied for most on the team. He may be like Fowler last year. John had far and away the most offensive rebounds on the team.

Alex is going to be a very solid player for us, just like John. And speaking of rebounding, like you pointed out in the past, Derrick has more rebounds per minute played than anyone on the team, and it seems to be carrying over this season. If he could learn to move his feet to avoid fouling so much, he could be a force for us. Also to think quicker to kick the ball out to the perimeter when he doesn't have a shot. If that light ever goes on, he could still be the best all around big man we've ever had since I've been here. He is potentially a better player than either Muntrelle Dobbins or JJ, who were great rebounders and could score on garbage baskets, but Derrick has better ball skills. Will he ever put it all together? Only time will tell, but if he does, he could be awesome.
