as to who might redshirt. There is evidently an NCAA rule that a first year player can play in an exhibition game and still redshirt. According to Jeff, he doesn't think Montrelle is eligible to redshirt. That leaves Alex, Marlo, Ricky, and Nick. It's highly doubtful that Alex or Ricky will redshirt. So that leaves the only real possibilites being Marlo and Nick.
If we could get by without Marlo this season, let him learn the system, and then with Mike and Wayne leaving after this season, Marlo could play a big role for the next two seasons. And Nick would be a great one to redshirt. We'll be losing a lot of guards after next season, and he could play a minor role next year and step in as a starter and have three seasons left after Bozeman, III, Alex and Ricky all graduate.
Interesting possibilities.
