in the paper of the pig exhibition game with Dillard? I didn't even read the article, but was listening to the radio last night, and on the Shawn and Wally talk show, one of the guys mentioned that the attendance was around 1,500, and they talked about what a terrible crowd it was. I guess it was pretty bad for the piggies. I don't think I've ever heard of a crowd anywhere near that small for a pig game since the Lanny Van Eman days. I used to go to the Christmas tournament they had at Barton in the Van Eman days, and the crowds would be about like that. Seems like you could get a ticket at one of the fast food places for a couple of bucks.

the paper said the "announced" attendance was 2300. I guess times have changed. Seems like not too long ago they'd get 15,000 or more for an exhibition game. A 2-15 conference record will do that. Still, I'd be thrilled if we had a "true" 2300 against Harding Sunday afternoon.

What about your exibition game? Who did you play and how good or bad do the Lady Wolves look? As a BB team that is.

The team was Christian Brothers a division two school. They weren't very good but, I hope we had something to do with it. We won 95-48. We are awfully young. We have seven players returning with experience. We lost one starter to pregnancy this year, she is suppose to return next season, it was our point guard. Our starters last night was a senior, senior, junior, sophomore, sophomore. The one Junior was a part time starter and the one sophomore played in only 6 games or a total of 25 minutes. But, early on she has been the most improved players. She was 4/7 from the three the other night and has really been shooting it well in practice all fall. We looked quicker than last year overall, we will be a better shooting team. The early surprise of the new kid was a girl out of Nettleton, Watson. the biggest problem I see with this team is we might not be tough enough on the inside but, guard play should be strong.
A little early to tell but, I've seen times where we didn't start out near as strong against weak teams as we did last night.
Two Seniors,
Two Juniors,
Four Sophomores
Five Freshman
One senior redshirting because of pregnancy, Taylor our point guard for the last three seasons.
