Apparently he wasn't involved in the rape allegations or the gang bang, so that's not it. Anybody heard anything on Welsh? He must have stepped in it pretty good to maybe be suspended for the whole first semester.
I suspect it is a continuation from the suspension back in July. It appears that Coach P and Mr. Welsh don't get along.

Attitude and team chemistry according to one of the newspaper writers who spoke to our group this morning. He mentioned that if you watched the games, Welch would seldom if ever pass the ball to Rotnei Clarke.
Does that sort of remind you of Stevie when he wouldn't pass the ball to III? You can draw your own conclusions.

I remember a bunch of Stevie assists on III's jumpers.

He was never the first option. It was a last resort. I think LRTrojan will agree with me on this one, however, I've misquoted him before, so I'll let him comment if he wishes. The first pass from Stevie, the few times he ever passed it, would normally always go to the other side from where III was located. I'm not the only one who commented on this. But maybe we were all hallucinating. I can't say for certain, and maybe my memory, what I have left of it, is somewhat selective.

I remember posts on some pig boards back early in the summer- "sources" indicated he would be suspended for part or all of the first semester, but wouldn't be kicked off the team because it would hurt the APR and likely cost the team a scholarship. Don't think the purpose of the APR was to make coaches keep trouble makers. Really have no clue what he might have done. Seems like a clash of personalities more than actual legal problems.

Yes, I agree with Doc on this one. I thought that Steven failed to get the ball to Matt many times when he was open. I always felt like Steven did not want Matt, a walk-on to be the hero, or leading scorer. That's just the way I saw it, and I may be wrong, but I don't think so.
I always thought Steven was more about Steven than team. I never thought he was a team player.
