SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse completed its brief exhibition slate with a narrow, 82-79, loss to cross-town foe LeMoyne on Tuesday night in the Carrier Dome. Junior forward Wesley Johnson led all scorers with 34 points on 12-for-23 shooting and 3-for-5 behind the arc, while commanding seven boards.
LeMoyne is a small Jesuit school in Syracuse that plays DII basketball. Can you imagine a bigger thrill for those kids than to beat the Orange in the Carrier Dome?
