He tweeted that he will be playing tonight. I am anxious to see it.
Can't wait for this one.

I still think the Grizz could be REALLY good this year.
It's good to hear someone come straight out and say that. I am getting tired of people letting their fanhood to the Tigers (and supposed loyalty to the city) interfere with liking the Grizzlies. One can like both teams.

I agree with you wholeheartedly.
i really like the grizz too. lets just hope they can maintain this level of play. i think they are starting to figure out they are going to have to earn their success. they will not get any help from the refs like some of the other teams. lets also hope iverson helps and doesnt hurt the team chemistry

Agreed. It's utterly stupid to think that if you love the Tigers, you should be completely against the Grizzlies.

Just like it's utterly stupid to think that you should automatically hate the Titans because you live in this area, but that's another story..lol
Go Grizz...they should win today. This is gonna be a fun yr.

I think so too!

I'm actually hoping we can become a play off team this yr.. I hope so.
Even though we're 1-2, and besides opening night, I'd say we've looked like a pretty good team so far.

I hope we are a playoff team too but even with a winning record, we might not make it. The west is a beast.

EXACTLY! I don't like the Titans simply because I am not big on really any team, I just like watching good football. But I don't have a fanship to anyone in particular. My dad will always hate the Titans because he feels like he is betraying the city of Memphis. I don't understand it.
I have never felt more excited for any other Grizzlies season or Tiger season.

BTW, for those who hate the Titans and felt like they betray the city of Memphis, just come to reality. The NFL is business. The Titans couldn't stay and play at the LB forever...
Bubbachuck !!!

I'll never call him AI again. 03-lol

The kings suck. The grizz need to get this road win.
Grizz looking REALLY good so far tonight.
What is it with this team? They look totally different from last year. Just sit Conely on the bench and play AI. Offense looks incredible with Mayo running the point.
Well, crap....3 point game, just like that
Second team comes in and all of sudden the Grizz are barely hanging on to a one point lead.
I think Rudy is overated. He is just never going to be a superstar.
Conley is the worst PG in the league.

Agree 100%
I agree on Conley....he is just too inconsistent. AI will have to get back in a groove before he make a difference.
We were playing great until he came in.
Well i dont think it was iversons fault ... they just stopped playing any defense.
If the Grizz could play some defense vs Kmartin they would be winning with ease.
Wow...Iverson saw next to no time in the first half.
Martin with 23 in the first half... pathetic.

Tyreke got a point!

Well he's out of shape, coming off an injury, and playing no defense. Of course he got yanked.
Where are you guys watching this? I was watching online but the stream got shut down.
You know what.....next time I'm just gonna shut the hell up. They go from being up 13 and to being down by 2 at the half. Man, it's work being a Grizzlies fan.
I really wish they hadn't picked ai up. Better to groom the young talent than to sell a couple of tickets with an old has been.

I'm in Birmingham!
I haven't watched most of the game. Was Conley really that bad? From the stats, he seems to be doing well...9 pts and 4 assists.
^Conley can have some good nights. His defense tonight hasn't been all that.

Anyways, i laugh at the stats guys in the nba sometimes. Tyreke has 3 assists (guaranteed) if not 4, yet espn has him with only 2 assists. If he was rondo, he would have 7 at half.
If you want a reason to trade Gay he just showed you. Martin got the ball at the 3 point line, Gay was literally 3ft away and let him spot-up and shoot the three without picking him up. I mean go at him and gaurd him!
Rudy doesn't play with heart, especially on defense.

It's on Fox Sports here, but the guy just called it Fox Sports Tennessee which would lead me to believe that it's not on in AL.
they really dont get any calls. but they have to play through it. they complain too much
i hate kevin martin btw. oj is a superstar in the making
atta boy iverson!!!

martin is a stud. i hate the fact that he always goes off against the griz.
iverson is really helping out

The Grizzlies are Memphis's home team.

The Titans are Nashville's home team.
well the tigers, grizz, titans, and cards are my teams
Ok, I signed up on nba.com and am now listening to it on the radio. It looks like the Grizzlies are playing a good game.
Conley and AI both have 9 points. Conley has 5 assists. Grizz lead the Kings 47-25 in rebounds.
they get NO calls!!!
6-1 turnovers in the 4th so far. Pathetic.
The grizz are just not playing tough enough defense against the open jump shot. They are just letting them shoot it.
I think I am falling in love for Gasol.
I dont know why they cant stop Martin.
