This Saturday as the UAB Blazers host Florida Atlantic for homecoming, Blazer head coach, Neil Callaway will be looking to accomplish a special milestone in his career: that elusive 10th victory against only 23 losses in just over 2 1/2 years.
"I've looked forward to this for some time," Callaway was quoted as saying, after his Blazers defeated UTEP on Saturday. "I just want to thank all of the players who have played with me over the past three years, who made it possible for me to even approach such a great milestone."
UAB Athletic Director Brian Mackin stated that if the Blazers win on Saturday, and Coach Callaway gets that 10th victory of his career, there will be a special ceremony after the game in which the game ball will be presented to him.
"We're very proud of what Coach Callaway has accomplished." Mackin stated. "I hope I am around to celebrate his 20th win as well."

I'm not at all sure what Mackin meant by the second statement, but really, what did you expect him to say?

Thank you. Apparently some didn't think it was funny and it was moved to the smack board where fewer people would see it.

Look on the front page of blazertalk. At least half of the threads and probably all of the football threads have smack in them.
