Full Version: 2 Players in football that you just had to watch, and go dang!

DeAngelo is not on the ballet. We all agree he was the bomb, and probably, for most, our favorite. But watching my son today, watch Tim Tebow break Walker's record, made me go back in time.

What players did I want to be like if and/or when I could be on that stage?

1. Alan Page, 88 for the Vikes back on the "Purple People Eaters" defense. Plus a great example of what a person can achieve and be.
2. OK, I get two since I started this. Billy Sims of Oklahoma, and Rick Leach of Michigan.

college: Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson
pro: Barry Sanders and Lawrence Taylor

Derrick Thomas was a bangup stud. Urlacher, such a great athlete. Remember when he was at New Mexico? SS and Punter, plus, I think he returned punts.
