Ultimately, playing pro football is just a job. Win or lose, the big named players jet to tropical locations at season's end and admire the fatten figures in their bank accounts. In contrast, Iowa St is the end of the road for the vast majority of ISU's players and it shows in their enthusiasm.
I'll be darned. And I believe he's in his very first year at ISU because their old coach took off to Auburn. Coaching and personality makes a huge difference. Just seeing how much those players loved him was good to watch.
I'm jealous of their OCS.
What do you think the odds are that any of our players would know the fight song past Go Tigers Go?
