Well the talking trash is done by all players and nothing new for any team. The main thing that bothered me was when Freeny tossed the ball in a Memphis players face after catching the touchdown, that was totaly classless.

Get over it, we agree Freeny's action was pure trash but players talking junk to each other on the field is not isolated to ECU. I see and hear it at every game from both teams.....

If we didn't like it, we should have stopped it

lol I was right next to that bunch. During halftime security came over to us and told everyone to stop yelling and cussing at the team (ECU), saying they were complaining about all the foul language. It sounded like we were at a little league game and I thought it was pretty funny.

Well, I hope that if any ECU players actually said "I'm going to murder you" to someone, that person got in touch with law enforcement and made them aware of the blatant threat by made the players - and that the offending players will be held in Memphis and charged accordingly.....

I would suspect, however, that nothing of the sort was said, and by the fact that another poster said that the FANS were actually asked to stop cursing at the players, this is nothing more than sour grapes and an overreaction to trash-talk that happens everywhere....ever pay attention to Calhoun and Singleton???? Doubtful....

I do have a problem with the players on my team that talk trash.

Only thing wrong with tossing the football in our kids face was our kid not getting up and putting dude's *** on the ground. Also trash talk happens in sports. Deal with it.

It wasn't sportsmanlike to toss the ball in the Memphis players face. But it also was unsportsmanlike to jump and lead with your head on a tackle, but who's complaining.
