The First Lady, a position that doesn't actually do, well, anything, apparently needs a personal staff of 26, more than twice as many as any previous First Lady, at a cost of $1.75 million per year (not including benefits) to the American taxpayer.

But, yeah, Palin spending a few hundred thou on clothes (paid for by money raised by the GOP, not taxpayers), is WAAAAYYY worse.
