To be honest with you, I think most people don't get a hard on by "being in the know" about whatever goes on inside the football team. Most of us never had any "bridges" to burn. It's normally not so bad, but the last football season created a lot of animosity among Blazer fans. Winning cures all ills, but our schedule this year is going to be so very tough.
If they start duking it out make sure to record it and post it on the board. I can never watch enough fight videos on the net.

Its what happens when a college doesn't have a NCAA team. They start out as a club team and once enough funding and support is acquired the team can get sanctioned by the NCAA.

Let's talk about beating a dead horse. I would NEVER support using foul language in any circumstances, especially in a public area in front of others. You have pointed out that some people had a complete lack of judgement and I would never defend them. From what I have read on this board, they apologized and admitted that they were wrong. So, I come to you and say either accept their apology or drop it. They have done what needed to be done in their asking for an apology. Now you should do the right thing and accept that apology and stop bringing it up in every other post. If you do not accept their apology, then I say that you are wrong. Stop beating this dead horse.

I really am trying to be a peacemaker here and not taking either side. You did bring back up th cursing at the game last year, that is all I was referring to. If he (or anyone else) did that in front of my family, I would have responded the same way. I should say, I have responded that way when someone has used foul language in similar circumstances. I do wish we could move on beyond the foul language incident. I also don't defend anyone who continues to use foul language or references in their smack talking.
The point I am trying to make is that there are some of us who are good Blazer fans but who do not like the direction of the football program. That doesn't make us bad fans.
Can't we all just get along :)

Seriously! Does anyone else feel uncomfortable reading this thread? UAB sporting events take up 2/3'rds of my year with football and basketball. It is a lot of fun attending both. I can't wait for football season next year. Meanwhile, I am loving the basketball team.
I can't wait to see the new recruits in the fall and I believe Spring practice is around the corner.
