nomination for 2006 quote of the year

I continue to be amazed how we can average about 20,000 people to come out and see a pathetically coached football team and we can't sell out every home game with Mike Anderson coaching our basketball team.
I wholeheartedly second that nomination, though I'm not certain if it's "quote of the year" or "no shiite, sherlock" quote of the year.
Another nomination for 2006 quote of the year:
Smaug had a hilarious response to a USM fan's post about the dl coach.
Considering that our defensive line couldn't rush the QB or stop the run, and our DBs got burnt all year, I'll take that as a good sign for us.
Given that opposing QB's last year had time to do each of the following against us:
1. Drop back
2. Play fake to the fullback.
3. Make his first read.
4. Make his second read.
5. Make his third read.
6. Outline his Masters' thesis.
7. Apply for a car loan.
8. Knock up a cheerleader.
9. Deliver said child.
10. See the child get redshirted on same team.
11. Go back to his first read and complete a long pass, because our defensive backs (and don't get me started about them) are tired from running around so long.
I'd say this is bound to be an improvement.
