I still firmly believe we'll finish no worse than 2nd in the West. We are always a disciplined team, play tough defense, and have the talent to hang around the top of the division. But that's why we play the games.
Anything can happen. But if the new kids buy into Steve's program, we'll be tough to beat. There is no question we're a more talented team than last year overall, but will we be as good? We'll know more in a few months.

Seems consistent with the views of most on this board. NT and Denver seem to be the class of the West this year. ASU is the question mark to me. But Rivals appears to believe they will be quite talented. Boone is on their second team. Brandon Reed is the newcomer of the year. They don't even mention the 4 star transfer from OkState who is supposed to be a real hoss. I'd hate to see ASU pass us up- but our rivalry definitely seems to go in cycles.
