Seriously, though, when has one UAB mid-season game EVER allowed you to accurately draw conclusions that we will go to a bowl game and compete for a conference championship? Gotta give a +1 to BlazerRod on this one.

Let him chatter away. I'm sure after next week his language will be woulda, coulda, and shoulda.

"Woulda, coulda, shoulda" what exactly?

We're 22 point dogs. I never said I disagreed with the line. And I haven't predicted we will win.

I was answering this portion of the question posed by the OP:

"...what you guys thought an upset win would mean program wise and for the rest of the season for the Blazers."

Suddenly, you're on me claiming I drink too much Kool Aid and posting pictures of the last President that actually did something in this country.

wut? 02-13-domokun

I posted a look of befuddlement. He just happen to be the person with the look. But just like with politics, you have a skewed opinion. Go figure. 03-lmfao

Now if you are as predictable as I think you are, you'll turned this into thread into a whole other subject and of course blame me for it.

And as President Obama would say, "Let me be clear, President Bush did do something for this country". I couldn't agree with you more Goat.
I observe that there are some "fans" on this board that are really getting old with their "I'm the realist and are therefore, holier than you.
Really. Old.

We are all fans, and this "let's compare the sizes of our fandom" is farging ridiculous.

And another thing, a prediction is NOT an astute observation. It's a prediction, i.e. a guess at the outcome of some future event.

Response to your first paragraph - So what. It's a internet chatboard and as long as no AUP rules are being violated...well you know what you can do.

Response to your second paragraph - Honestly, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Response to your third paragraph - I was referring to BlazerFan11 first paragraph in his post and not his prediction. Definitely not an astute observation on your part.

See how easy it is for you to be a smartazz on a chatboard? Sure you do.

Why are you responding to my first part? Was it directed towards you? Perhaps, perhaps not, but a smart guy like you should know the rest about the shoe fitting and all.

The second part is related to the first. I get tired of reading folks bashing each other on this board, and that is what my remark was lamenting. But it was merely that, a lament. Whatever.

The third part:
Really? Not his prediction?
What part of the English language do you understand? He was PREDICTING what effect a win against Ole Miss would have on us. That is what you term an astute observation? An observation of something that hasn't even happened yet? It's prognostication on his part, and a woeful lack of understanding on yours.

Smartazz that, genius.

From BlazerFan11:

I agree with the "program win" statement, but I'm not sure about that second part. We still have 4 games on the road in our final 6, so we would still have to win 1 (or maybe 2) on the road somewhere. Plus, beating Ole Miss would in no way help us in our conference race.

Yeah that's a prediction. But wait you said a prediction is not an astute observation; it's a prediction.......you think?

Your smartazz has been matched and doubled. Now you can go have a hot cup of STFU and keep it moving.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
I guess you told me. You spent like 2 days coming up with that one? You call that an astute observation? You know, I actually was giving you more credit by assuming (yeah, that word) you weren't so charmed by a mere observation of the facts. Interestingly enough, you also cut the remainder of his statement out. But, I already had you pegged as that kind of guy. Bravo. Well done. You are obviously the better and bigger man in this situation.
You know what? I will enjoy that hot cup of tea now, but not because some halfway literate, keyboard trash talker "told me so," but because I actually have a life and am enjoying myself very much with these seasonal temperatures we are having right now.
Cheers.

First you assume....need not go there. And actually you wasn't giving me credit for anything; you're trying to save face. Figures. I spent two days coming up with that one? Next day response flyboy. I do sleep and have a life like you're claiming to have. I cut the reminder of his statement out to show you I was referring to his first paragraph as I stated before and to make it simplier for you to understand. It was clear you were having difficulty doing so and in your attempt to be a smart ass only made yourself look like a bigger ass.

You'll have that cup of STFU because you're use to drinking it. Stay in your lane and carry on.

In fact, I think an upset over the Rebels would make us more likely to lose at Marshall, because we'd have a big ol' target on our back, and we'd have to deal with the overconfidence thing all over again (not that it would be a bad problem to have, plus I have us losing the MU game anyways). It would clearly help our bowl chances, but I don't think it would guarantee it by any means.

As for a prediction, I think our game will be similar to Memphis' game against them, with us keeping it close through the first half, and them blowing it open in the second half. I'm going to say 41-17 Rebs.

This is very accurate and astute observation on your part.
BRod,
I have bolded all of the first paragraph, which you DID cut. I have no need to try and save face with you.

For whatever reason, you like to give it out to everyone else, but when you get called on something, you go off the handle. Your continual attempts at telling me to "STFU," are rude and crude, whether you spell it out or not.

My only regret is that I stooped to your level and used "Smartazz" in response to your use. In that use, I did fire one personal attack. You, however, have resorted to multiple instances of name calling and general crassness.

Again, I knew better, and you have proved my next point:
Arguing on a message board is childish for we both have our opinions. Also, the point is meaningless. It's only over pride that we maintain our differences of opinion. [Removed my next statement as it was deemed inflammatory in hindsight.]

Go ahead and resort to your base behavior and spewing whatever other crap at me that you will. I'm man enough to walk away without another word. Are you?

Me being a man is not determine by what takes place on a internet chatboard. Nice try flyboy. But lets work off the premise you just laid out for me, if you wanted to prove your "manhood" by walking away you would have done so without even replying back to me.

You seek the last word and cleverly try to cover it with this BS you just spewed. When you say something to me and I don't agree with it, you will get a response. Know that from now on when you're being a smartazz with me.

Now I am finish with you. Stay in your lane from now on and carry on!
