i had disagreements with gray over the years, but i respected his opinion. more than i can say for many of his detractors. i was wondering where he had gone. now i know. dont know which mod decided that gray had over stepped his "privilege" to defend the tigers or to speak out against one of the tiger detractors.

Gray deserved a time out, just like you, I, and many others have over the years. Questioning someones fanhood because they disagree with the direction of the program is just silly.

He was on a rampage one day. I asked him to lighten up. He refused. He was given a day to cool off.

Great Tiger fan who I've had the pleasure of meeting in real life several times. Just as humble as can be.

Did anyone else read that letter and hear it from Sean Connery's voice as they read it?

I know the gray avenger very well, used to be part of his family. he is a very very very respectable man and i have the utmost respect for him. he is a VERY SOLID fan and has supported the university for years and will always do so. he has ideas about the university and has expressed those ideas/opinions over the years and feels strongly about those ideas. everyone on this board has an idea or two they would like to see implemented but get walked over for expressing what they feel are good ideas. there are sometimes harsh people on here that are elitist and simply dont like to budge, on the other hand, there are those that get their feelings hurt to easily and should let things go. everybody needs to remember we are all tiger fans but sometimes support our team/university in different ways and no one way is better than the other.

I miss G.A. Sometimes he went off on bizarre tangents, but I never considered putting him on ignore, unlike most of those who bashed him. I never doubted that he wanted the best for the university, but I sometimes disagreed on how to accomplish that. I'm glad he had an alternative place to post.

I've always wanted to know that as well. I am not being critical of anyone or anything, it just seems to be a random assortment of individuals, not like some clique of "superfans" that got together one night and made a pact or anything.

I think it's funny someone is boycotting a message board. Even funnier that other people care enough to say apologies need to be slung around. Most funny someone would bring it up at a public forum like the HH meeting and complain to the head football coach.

GA stated the he didn't have season tickets but attended many games each year. I believe he may have said that he attended most games, but I can't remember what his exact words were.

whats the big deal? I have been round here long enough to know its not all on GA.. I would bet the mod was at fault as well. GA is only asking for an apology. How hard is that? GA is a true fan whether you agree with his stance on things.
