Wasn't sure where to put this, since it's about X. So, Smack Talk it is.

Was watching this game on ESPN U when the slick one appeared out of a mist in the booth.
1st question was "How difficult was it to leave Memphis?"
X mentioned it was sad because of all the relationship that were built up over the years but that he couldn't pass the chance up.
Then they asked him about Cousins, Wall, etc (the recruiting class once known as future Tigers) I noticed that they didn't ask him about how odd it was to get releases from the U of M.

But you know what?

I didn't get angry. I still thought f u, about X, but wasn't angry about the recruits.

I really like the guys that Coach Pastner is bringing. I like Coach Pastner. CJP is going to do great things as coach, I feel it.

X looks like and old man to me now. Glad he's gone.

I was pissed when he left and took the recruits, but Im not mad anymore. WE PLAYED FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! I dont care what the damn NCAA says. He also made this program relevant again. He helped upgrade the facilties and energized a once apathetic fan base. I travel all over the southeast, have for over 17 years. I see Memphis hats, shirts and bumper stickers everywhere now. Before Cal, you couldnt get Memphis gear in very many places. People really need to stop all the hatred. Sorry, but thats my opinion on the whole thing. I hope he has success against those assholes in the SEC. If he does, I think it makes us look good here.
