Pitino is coming out swinging....he's not going anywhere.

This whole episode is very sad. I know Louisville used to be a rival but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. It's just very sad.
I bet a ticked-off Pitino would beat the crap out of a ticked-off Calipari.
I see nothing sad about it. That's what happens when you have affairs. First of all, he deserved it, because i have no respect for a cheater in a marriage and especially since he employed her husband. Secondly, he denied it until just recently. Yeah, she might be a b**** and causing him problems, but if he keeps his **** in his pants, he doesn't have this problem, does he?

I see it as no reason for him to retire or quit. This is personal matter, not a louisville matter. He just needs to man up and do whatever it takes to come clean and move on in life, and hopefully he is a little smarter next time.
I liked his comment where he stated forcefully that it's not his fault for all this happening. Sure, she might be extorting him and dumping everything into the public eye, but like tmoney stated keep it in your pants and none of this happens.

I believe Pitino porked her well before she hooked up with his employee.

No matter what happened between University of Louisville Men's Head Baskeball Coach Rick Pitino and the woman had an affair with six years ago. Is this not the second statement she made to the police, and first two do not match in the end? The reason why is because it happened to the U of L men's basketball coach, and he is the second most important coach in the state of Kentucky.
