Since the UNC Forty-Niners left Conference USA for the Atlantic Ten conference you are in now, when has your tearm been revelant anymore, by the way? Fact: The A-10 has outperformed CUSA in RPI every year since the split.

How many times have the Charlotte Forty-Niners been to the NCAA Tournament since leaving Conference USA? That is real measure of sucess, since sixty four teams make the NCAA tournament. Their are bad teams at the bottom in every conference, by the way. Does not your conference have the Saint Louis Bilikens in your conference as well?

Yea I think St. Louis is also in that conference. A-10 has out performed CUSA thanks to X, Dayton and Temple other than that the conference also sucks. And so what? Who cares about CUSA RPI? look at our RPI....what triple digit number is 7bcs?

Lets see no violations to effect the program in the future.....IE. no Post Season Ban...which means we can continue to go to the NCAA Tournament on a REGULAR BASIS if we slip this year we will be back next year using the core we have to continue as a National Power. Even in our "off" years we are just preparing for a deep run the next season and will still have 20 wins that "off" year. What Tournament do you guys think you will go to this season or the next few years? I think the CBI takes sub .500 teams...but those type of teams come from the Big conferences so you will probably have to win at least 20 games to make that.... and last I checked it has been a while since 7BC did that.

Two weeks after that dunk during a 3 point referee aided win at Charlotte against a down Memphis team, your #25 ranked Niners came into the CUSA tourney and got absolutely smoked by the Tigers. Wasn't even close. Thats what I remember about that season, not some one off dunk in a once in a lifetime rush the court type victory for a crappy program such as Charlotte.

Fact... Pornstache should have stuck with softball, he was pretty good at that, college basketball coaching... not so much.

The University of Memphis Men's Basketball Team matters in College Basketball bottom line and the UNC Charlotte Forty Niners do not. Deal with that fact, and oh by the way what is happening with the NCAA is not over by yet by a longshot. In most conference their are only three of four good teams in the conference anyway. The conferences that had more than three teams are the power conferences in basketball, like the acc, big ten, pac ten, and the sec. Your conference the Atlantic Ten is a good confereence and gets multiple bids, but the true measure is that a team does out of conference.

From the last couple of Larry Finch years till the year 2000, the University of Memphis Men's Basketball Team had a down period by our standards. The U of M biggest problem in the Coach Calipari years was the lack of oversight by our leadership and too much trust with our former head coach who is now the Kentucky Men's Head Basketball Coach. Memphis will continue to win Conference USA Championships and reload with nationally recruited players and win twenty games each year, and Charlotte has not since it left Conference USA. Sometimes the grass is not so green on the other side, isn't it?

Memphis will be in the NCAA tournament again next year, and do it while being clean. Good luck going to the NIT or whatever postseason tournament you go to this year.
