D.Rose becoming a UK fan Reply

Rose already is a huge Cal supporter and after the rumors of Rose helping to lock up J. Wall for UK it just shows the relationship Cal has with these guys.
I cant wait to see CDR and Dorsey swing by Rupp while we have some recruits in town. During the draft Cal was at T.Evans table, I think this will help when the recruits are told by some how Cal turns his back on his players and just gets what he needs out of them and then tosses them aside.
In Memphis Cal is a 4 letter word the man is hated down here. It has become almost sad. That is why when we see support from his past UM players it just shows how he is a players coach.
Someone actually took a fake face book of Joey Dorsey here and put on it Joey's 5 people he would like to punch in the face, of course all 5 where a pic of Cal. I ca not wait until we see old UM players showing there support by wearing some UK gear, Memphis would go up in flames.

Funny, not only was Cal NOT at Reke's table...Reke was Bledsoe's host and was RECRUITING AGAINST CAL.
CDR, Antonio, and Joey came down and did the "It's All Good" weekend, they sure looked like Memphis fans to me.

I wonder how their opinions of Rose, Tyreke, Joey, Antonio, and CDR would change if we played KY and those guys were all rooting for Memphis (which they would be).

I expect some players to recruit for us, and some for Cal, but I expect all love us and all love Cal.

The thing about Dorsey's facebook page was real. It was actually his page. He apologized for it later, but he was genuinely pissed off at Calipari.
Why in the hell would I want to like Cal. The man stole our recruits and UK bought them. Plain and simple. I guess I'm supposed to throw on some Kentucky gear and buy season tickets because Cal coached at Memphis and is now at UK. This guy is the biggest hypocrite I have ever seen. Everytime he talks he makes himself look like a complete jackass. Plus he's giving the Memphis Fire Department a bad name. If he thinks that CDR and Joey are going to put on some UK gear he's got another thing coming. Why in the hell would they want to help Kentucky when they played 3 and 4 seasons a piece at Memphis.

I call BS on Rose recruiting Wall for UK. Truth is he might have helped when it was Wall to Memphis for Cal, and the effect just transferred.
Cal was not an invited guest at Reke's table at the draft. He sat himself down there beforehand to get himself some face time on ESPN, and Reke was noticably uncomfortable. Reke's family made it clear before the draft that Cal would not be at the table, and when Reke's name was called, he didn't wait for Cal who was desperately trying to get close to him, though he knew Cal was there back in the bleachers and that Cal "expected" a hug, as he had said over the radio. If not a direct diss, clearly not a person of much importance in Reke's world anymore.
Many of Cal's former players will probably still have about the same relationship they had with him beforehand, and that's fine, but as has been mentioned already, the ones this clown mentions have been in Memphis and repping Memphis since Cal left. As much as UK wants to sponge off of Memphis' success, it ain't happening.
The Joey thing was very real. That was his real page and he took it down and apologized later, probably bc his agent suggested it.
Memphis players wearing UK gear? Dream on.

i am not a cal hater, but i am very disappointed in his decision to go to kentucky.
he always talked as if he were the champion of the little guy. he never seemed to be an elitist. then, at the first opportunity he jumps to ky and claims he always wanted to coach there.
if you are an alabama fan, or a so cal, or an osu, or an okie fan i guess you just wouldnt understand; but most of the rest of us sure as hell hate cal's hypocrisy.

Isn't this the same thing a lot of you blasted Pitino's former UK players for doing once he went to Louisville? This perspective shows you the loyalty these kids/men have for the coach and not necessarily the same love for the school that we as fans have.
I agree, to have to watch Mccarty walk around on the side lines of UL just shows you where the loyalty is.
I really wanted to post this to see how fast they would post it up on UM board. It took less then 24hrs.

I love BBN and will defend it to the end. I do understand why they are pissed maybe a better word is hurt about Cal moving on with players that would have been at UM if he had stayed, I understand that really hurts, the what could of been. But what pisses me off is how they have treated the BBN and Cal and his family. Slick Rick is with in a 100 miles of UK, if Cal had taken another job that close to UM I really do believe his and his family's well being would be in question, that is how out of control it has gotten here. Hell they are blaming Cal for Lataviouse Williams going to China.
So if I can get a jab in I will. Do I think these UM players will now be UK supporters over UM, NO. But when I get to work this morning me and some friends will sit around and get a good laugh out of the names that I will be called on the UM board. They have gone as far as to say I am terrible at my job and one guy told me to eat a dic-------.
For me allot of this is all in fun, I have family and friends who are season ticket holders for UM so I go back and back with them over this, but it is all in fun.
My problem is some in Memphis have taken this to a complete different level. Not all there are some great people in Memphis, I am a fan. When Memphis beat us a few years back I was slammed, but I took it all in fun. These guys get personal and take it to far. I do not think joking about some old UM players wearing UK gear is taking it to far.
I would like to say one thing in Memphis that BBN should support and get behind is ST.Jude for the kids, I do allot of work there and if you are looking to donate in to something please BBN look into this it is ran on donations and does an unbelievable job for the kids.

You see the Memphis response to these posts, that is what I hear every day. They have a local radio host here who refers to Cal as scumbag now. These Memphis fans are so delusional they really believe Tyreke Evans hates Cal and that Dorsey cant stand him and would actually threaten Cal on face book. It is so stupid how these guys act down here towards Cal and anyone who supports him. They tell me just because I am a UK fan that I am a disgrace to my proffesion. It is a joke down here.

The best place for Memphis is from behind because they cannot act like they have any class at all.
They complain about the players Cal took, exactly who are those players. Wall (not signed) Bledsoe (not signed) Hood (BG recruit) Orton (BG recruit) Cousins (LOI only) Dobson (LOI only) Henry (Kansas) the other recruit who begged Cal to come to UK, but Cal said no, he went to Baylor. So 2 players with LOI only came from Memphis, are you kidding me what do you guys keep bitc--- about, Miller took more to Arizona when he left Xavier.
Yes your coach left and went to another school, but that does not give you choice to say the players that signed with Cal after he got to UK was yours to lose.
And in Memphis they love to say Cal even took the secretary with him, what they leave out is that this women is very close to Cal and his family, Cal actually helped her get her child in to private school so her baby could get a good education. And I would be willing to bet that she was the one wanting to go to Lexington with Cal, I really do not think he had to twist her arm to much.
These guys down here think Cal and all of BBN are evil and are intentionally trying to destroy there program, I really think it would bother them if they found out Cal had moved on and is not trying to screw them, I think as long as they can think Cal still has something to do with there program they feel OK, good or bad.
I gave UM fans a post once that said, let it go Cal has, this man has the number #1 recruiting class coming in with a top #5 team he is trying to get together for a run at a championship, he is over one of the most recognisable programs in the world that he is trying to stay on top of, he has thousands of people who hang on in every word daily on twitter that he is trying to keep going, and when he has free time he has a family to spend time with, so trust me Memphis is so far from this mans thinking and plans for the future, let it go Coach Cal is a WILDCAT now and that takes up most of his time, there is not any time left for you, sorry.
And I did not even mention the Charity's he is over. NO TIME LEFT,LET IT GO MOVE ON YOU HAVE YOUR OWN COACH LOVE HIM FALLOW HIM, LEAVE MINE ALONE.
There is allot more that goes on down here that would blow your mind, but I will save that for another day.

Justin Timberlake has enough money that he doesn't have to worry about doing a show where he doesn't want to.
Southerners have a certain colloquialism that fits JT quite well. He's got "go to hell" money. He has enough money to say "Go to hell" if someone disagrees with him.
