I like how the artist probably painted the worst possible expression on the guy's face and used photos from his days at Memphis.
One UK fan commented that even the players have yet to don a UK uniform, yet here they are.
You'd think that he could have at least waited until the guy had coached a couple of games into the season before he painted it!
Just thought this was amusing when I found a thread on it on CP.
They really captured his arrogance in the center portrait. Looks like they got him mid phrase in his famous "Hey....can we win one more?"

Guess I was wrong. One of them is Jodi Meeks, and he was previously painted over when it looked like he was going pro, then added back in when he decided to stay. Most UK fans posting hate this painting, too. That's what so funny!
One wants me to PROVE these photos were of Cal as our coach by providing links to them. Duh!! The guy hasn't coached a single minute in a suit yet for UK, yet he remains unconvinced.

I actually laughed at that
Judging by the middle pic, it appears that Cals head has actually gotten bigger. No surprise to those of us familiar with his ego.

My first impression was a burst of laughter. (Glad I wasn't sipping a beverage at the time!). I thought it was hilarious ...on many levels. Even though they got our coach, the UK fans look like idiots publishing paintings like this one before the guy even coaches a single game!
I hope no one tries to do one for Pastner until he at least accomplishes something, first.

Because it totally captured everything I feel about X and everything I feel about X makes me want to hurl. I don't want to hear all the yada yada yada about what he did for the program. "Our" program got him the Kensucky job. He found a gold mine here, sucked it for everything it was worth and then bailed with no regrets. Just sayin'.

I'm glad he came here after the Tic Price fiasco, however I am a Memphis fan not a Calipari fan. He is no longer associated with the program, and as far as I am concerned, he is now the enemy along with the coaches of every other Division I program.
