The one 'great effort' play that sticks in my mind, is the play that Nick Jones made diving head long across the end line at Alltel to tip the ball back to Jibrahn Ike(I believe it was Jibrahn), and he hit a three at the buzzer to tie the game with Louisiana-Lafayette, and send it into overtime. I believe we lost the game in overtime though.
Does anyone know if Jibrahn played pro ball overseas after his Trojan career was over? If so, is he still playing? He too was one of my favorite Trojans of all-time.

That play would have to be my "all time" also. It was unbelievable. However, there was another that I didn't see, since it was played in Starkville, Miss, against Miss State. When Fish passed the ball in to Derrick Creyton for a last second stuff to beat then fourth rated (I believe that's correct) Miss State.

It wouldn't compare with Nick's probably, but Big Mike's last second shot off the offensive rebound for the win at Creighton was a great play.

That's truly amazing as to how many of our ex players are playing pro ball. And some are really getting up there in age for basketball players.
Carl Brown must be close to drawing Social Security. Hope they're all making a lot of money and saving some for their retirement from basketball.

That info is outdated. I know Too Tall played in Iran last year. Malik in Israel. I haven't been able to find Carl Brown's name on a roster in Germany for a couple of years.
