Not the Beatles, or the Who, or the Stones, but who were those other bands or songs or albums that got you through the sixties? 'Little Children' by Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas or 'Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying' by Gerry and the Pacemakers or 'Game of Love' by Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders are a few.
Most anything by the Kinks.

The Sex Pistols in the 1970's with Punk Music, that is after the first British Invasion.
What in the hell does a whiter shade of pale mean anyways? Oh yea Kinks rock.
A Whiter shade of Pale means... Well it could mean many things. There is Pale, and then there is a whiter shade of it. Just take it that it means that the song was written by a guy who was never actually in the group. Set to Melody by the guy who does sing the song. Wrap that up with a Mysterious name that no one agrees on the meaning of. And you have one of the greatest songs of alltime. Based on a melody by Bach. What the song actually means, I have no clue. I just like it.

Peter and Gordon, I could not pull them out of the memory banks. I could remember Peter Asher, Gordon escaped me. Good list.

I had a really bad bootleg of the Pistols singing 'My Way' that was absolute gold. It was on a cassette with Elvis C. singing an X-rated version of 'Less Than Zero', but I can't find that.
