Which political ideology do you most identify yourself with (not political parties)?
I don't know that I agree with "Less govt in Social Issues" as part of the liberal ideology. It seems that they want more federal legislation to control issues like gay marriage and abortion. The difference is liberals want legislation allowing these things, conservatives want legislation banning them. I think it should be left up to states to decide on all those things. Liberals also want more gov't control over things like healthcare, education, etc.
F. None of the above.

Healthcare, education, etc. are mostly economic issues (IE: we want to spend your money on those things). Socially liberal means that I don't give a damn who you marry. I don't want to FORCE gay marriage, but I don't want to ban it either. So on and so forth with things like marijuana, etc.

Keep in mind that specifically on the gay marriage issue that if one state allows it, for all practical purposes if the feds have zero laws on the books then it is legal nationwide due to the full faith and credit clause of the US Constitution.
Healthcare and education only become economic issues when the federal gov't tries to seize control and raise taxes to pay for it (then proceed to ruin it like everything else they stick their hands in). They have no business in either.

So far 8/11 have said they are libertarian leaning, but I wonder how many actually VOTED for libertarian leaning candidates? Until people start voting their conscience instead of settling for the "lesser of two evils" we will continue with the status quo in DC.
I voted for Bob Barr last year.

Sorry, but Supreme Court precedent has held that Full Faith and Credit does not apply if the object of the FFC claim violates the public policy of the state rejecting it. So, even if gay marriage is allowed in Massachusetts or Vermont, a valid same-sex marriage performed there does not have to be recognized by Alabama or Texas or Oklahoma or any other state which has deemed that same-sex marriage violates public policy (and especially if the state constitution has specifically defined marriage as between a man and a woman). Plus, the vast majority of Full Faith and Credit claims are for actual court judgments, such as divorce decrees and child custody orders.
How the heck did Blazer Engineer vote twice?

He works for ACORN.

Nah, on second thought, if that were the case, he'd have voted 75+ times by now. There would also be some mystery votes from cartoon characters and dead people.
