That is something I wish the NFL and College Football did a littler more to honor the greats of the past, just like Major League Baseball does each All-Star game. Depsite the differences in athleticism and weight, for the most part baseball is the same game Stan Musial last played forty-five years ago. I hope finally the National League wins the game tomorrow in the end.

Thanks for posting this on two truly, great STL greats. Musial threw me a ball after taking batting practice and warm ups at the old, Sportsman's Park.

That was a great article.Pujols said Monday night he didn't like being called "el hombre" because Musial is "The Man."I think Albert being humble is one of the these that makes him such a likable person.Musial was in Humboldt a few years back as the Grand Marshall at the Strawberry Festival.That's the only time I've ever seen him in person.

Albert Pujols likes being in St. Louis and it shows by his attitude. He give a great public face of a man who cares about the game of baseball, while Pujols head has not gotten to big by all the attention he gets.
