Looks like the biggest portion of it is hitting you right now while most of Memphis was spared. Wife and kids are in Memphis right now and hoping to leave early afternoon heading this way.....

Started with thunder and lightning here in beautiful, scenic, and crime-free southern Fayette county about 3am and continued pretty much non-stop until after 8 this morning.

Well, I'm back to being able to hear the grass growing again.
That nice little shower is just what we needed.
Kids are thrilled.

Woke up this morning to my KoKo all snuggled up beside me because of the storms. Of course I slept thru them all. Then when we got up it really started thundering so he was scared to death. I thought he wasn't even going to let me get into the shower without him this morning. He stood right beside the shower until I got out and wouldn't leave my side all morning long. I sure hated leaving him to go to the office but we have a shop cat, Splater, that doesn't like strangers much less other animals (especially dogs) so Ko ended up jumped in bed with my son. I love storms.
