I'm so tired of having to post about this guy, but he just makes it impossible to stop.

He says he's trying to help us with Matt Pilgrim??? How about three months ago when you could have left your catspaws off of our recruiting class???? Ring a bell D-Bag???? Unbelievable. What a freeking idiot!!!!! Just Shut Up!!!!
Not to be devil's advocate here but the recruits left to play for X, not Memphis. He may or may not be doing this genuinely, but if there's anything we learned about him in the last 10 years is that he'll do and say anything to appease the fans and media while at the same time work his own agenda. I'm, for one, ready to move on and just focus on our new staff. I frankly don't care what X does anymore because now it's Kentucky's problems.

Here's the problem, he keeps interjecting himself back into the forefront. Either by appearing at local events, or attending a coaches clinic, and now "helping" us land a recruit. I'm all down with letting the guy go, as long he'll just go. I mean, dang dude, you wanted to leave and you left. So leave, sell the ugly *** pink house and go do your thing in Lexington. If you miss Memphis that bad, you never should've left........Not jumping on you bro, really. I'm just frustrated that X can't stay away or keep his paws (no pun intended) out of our program.

Some of you guys just can't let it go can you...
This is a good chance for Pastner to show up Cal in player development.

I am there now. FINALLY.
There is a time when to push and pull...If the kid actually can ball then Josh will probably offer and Josh will owe Cal for helping to land a 2 star recruit. That a pretty weak hold card to me.
Ex is offering a plate of pork offal to a potential superstar head coach in J.Pastner, when his intent may very well be to Sportscenter Expedient because he's aware his reputation is tarnished. Kinda offensive if you ask me. If he wanted to help, he could have done so by allowing us to pick up Bledsoe some weeks ago. Utter Bollocks.
The Ex is only doing this for himself.Imagine the negitive press and recruiting if the Ex did anything not to help this kid after kicking him of the team.End of story
LISTEN IM HURT BY CAL BUT COME ON NOW HE TOOK A JOB WE WILL GET UP ...
Question. how can I say I am over it without answering a thread and saying I am over it and if I do answer then perhaps I am not over it? If this makes sense to anyone other than me then you may be as confused as I am.

Agree, he is a total nonfactor to me. He is as insignificant as any other coach for any other team. My thoughts and concerns are limited to my team, the Memphis Tigers. I no longer care what he does on a daily basis as long as it doesn't effect Memphis. He's yesterdays news. I worried for 9 years that we were going to get into some sort of trouble with the NCAA. It feels good to have a coach that has integrity and respect from other people for a change.
who cares. seriously just quit talking about him. you guys all sound like a bunch of girls who found out their guy cheats on them all the time. Get the **** over it and move on.
Why is this on the recruiting forum?
Agree... please remove from the recruiting forum... and please stop posting about the ex-coach - nobody cares.
moved to ntr-sports....
just mentioning it in a thread doesn't help. you have to let someone know that it belongs somewhere else. i just happened to stumble onto this thread.
