Its ALL about Hasheem Thabeet. At 7'3" the owner has fallen in love. The Grizz need help in many areas, however, defense is the main area. They have scorers on the wing and a PG that has improved under Coach Hollins, so why not draft a true Center who intimidates opposing players? Ill tell you why...he's a gamble. Hes tall, yes, but extremly raw on offense and slow! My sources tell me the Griz will take Thabeet or trade the #2 pick. Many offers have come across the table (teams looking to move up and snag Ricky Rubio) however, none offer a deal tha blows GM Wallace out of the water. There are some tricky trade scenerios being thrown around so we will see. Id say its a 75% chance the big man from Tanzania will be a Grizzly.

Mike Conley simply got more minutes under Hollins...
I am keeping my fingers crossed for a trade down to pick up Tyreke... although now it looks like he will be going to Suckramento at 4.
OJ/Tyreke would be a nice guard combo with OJ playing the point primarily, but both being able to run the point... Tyreke's a better slasher/creator, OJ is a better shooter... if you can trade down and still end up with Tyreke and a capable vet, you have to do it...
