I recall some evenings when I experienced the very same thing in my younger and wilder days. Mine was usually the result of visits with cousin Jack. We called what the little elephant experienced "knee-walking".

Don't remember stumbling around like that in my hippie days but sure remember stumbling around alot when I was at Ole Miss and drinking heavily to forget where I was.
