UK has been in final fours and national championship games in the 40-50-60-70-80-90 AND 1948 GOLD MEDALISTS team in Olympics. Not to shabby. So to think UK will be down and out or considered a team that is a flash in the pan that is just a once and awhile type of program that just has a good few years then just disapears, (that sounds familiar huh). To say UK is like th Lakers and Yankees of college basketball is not to far fetched. We (UK) ALWAYS seem to be in the conversation when all said and done. Almost forgot UK has won more games then any other NCAA DIV 1 basketball program, you do not do that over a 3 year run.

Yes, dh, you left out that kensucky is also one of the most penalized teams in D1. Ah, the '48 olympics. Yes, you beat out that powerhouse French team for the gold medal. I'd be real proud of that.

Yeah, they sure did talk about Kentucky a lot last year during the NCAA tournament. Wait, what? They didn't? Oh, that's right, they were playing in the NIT.
