So today my wrestling coach made a prediction about UAB athletics in the future. He told me that by the end of the 2012 season that UAB will drop their football team for good. He also said that the basketball program will never hold a coach thats any good. He thinks that UAB will get a good coach after Davis leaves and he will be bought off within 3-4 years. What do yall think?

Unless your wrestling coach is Brian Mackin, I'll venture he doesn't have his finger on the true pulse of UAB athletics. Maybe your wrestling coach can pinpoint the direction the economy is going to take over the next 4 years as well.
Tell your wrestling coach to check back in in 4 or 5 years when the football program is thriving, and is competing annually for CUSA championships, and he's still........well, coaching wrestling.
Okay my first response is to the Mods; why wasn't this thread immediately moved to the smackboard? Also, we should have a "Rumor" board added in place of the "BOTD" board for gay stuff like this.
1. It was not immediately moved to the smack board because A. I did not feel like it. B. I was too buys at work doing my day job at the time. And C. I planned to do it later unless a moderator got to it before the administrator did but thank you for taking the time to ask.
2. There are no plans at this time for a rumor board but the BBOTD board will be returning soon with lots of hotties.

Dont worry about what your wrestlin coach says.. Just keep the faith and become a Blazer when you graduate. Maybe you will find a place on one of our teams ( pump the iron, stay in shape, and eat right). Coach Callaway has lots of friends all around the football world and will be supported for years to come. I met some of his former players and they will be sending their kids to join his team in the near future. Go Blazers!!!!!

I wasn't the one trashing him.
I was being sarcastic. Many people seem to believe that anyone who has a low post count has no credibility and I was pointing out that everyone who automatically bashed this guy did so without considering that it might actually be a new poster rather than a troll.
