Hate to bring it up, but for those of you who are interested and wish to say "hello" next time you're in Lexington, here is Cal's newly purchased home in Lexington. The article does say the he "looked at it several weeks ago" - I wonder just how long ago this was.

That's why I posted it, I found it interesting that he was looking for houses in Lexington several weeks ago. A realtor in Lexington claimed, on a board up here, that his company was contacted in Jan. about houses, by Cal's people.

You will someday find out that all he cares about is himself. He does not give a Sh$t about your school, community, tradition or players...all he wants is a ring.... if he was any kind of bench coach he would already have one W/ Memphis ( it took a miracle and a piss poor bench coach to lose that NC). BTW he is not the recruiter for the big time ballers... it is WWW....hope nothing happens to that connection!... I would suggest you do the following:
1) See who he actually signs
2) get your program out of cemetery
3) Make the Tourny first and advance before u talk SH*T
4) Stay off probation
5) avoid offers ( he will shop you every year)
6) Prepare your fellow fans for his excuses ...."louisville is just one game"..."we are what we are"...."we are young" ...."new system"..."it is going to take 4 years"..."we are the underdog"..he has already started to try to downplay expectations....how long will that last at ky??????
7) realize that nobody gives a $hit about how good you used to be except someone with an ego the size of your state. FU

I hear you, we couldn't figure out why Tubby didn't get off the bench, his last year at UK and was recruiting duds, guys that Dayton could get with no problem. Then, at Tubby's presser in Minny, the AD was asked when "first contact was made with Tubby" and the AD says "in December" - no wonder, the dude was looking to get out. I don't think Cal just got the call from UK when BCG was fired - I'm willing to bet that feelers were put out by UK towards Memphis during the season, but we may never know. I'll appreciate Cal while's at UK but you can't worship these guys, they all bolt sooner or later.
IF cal was contacted during the season by high $ alums, why was he their fourth choice? Who knows, maybe it was by design. If cal's people asked a real estate agent to provide a list of potential houses in JANUARY, he knew he had an inside track.
Three major mistakes so far: The "I want to coach in Memphis" quote off the plane Friday after the Missouri loss, (where he tried to get thrown out of the game).

Hey Nicco, I seem to recall that you were a Cal fan from way back and became a Memphis fan when Cal came here. Is that true? If so will you continue to be a Memphis fan and are you now a kentucky fan?
