I'll be curious to see how Slatton spins this in his article. I want to think it is a big deal. Hope so.

My biggest concern is that at last report he's still not 100% eligible. I'll feel better when I hear his work transfers and he can play next year.

There's probably a reason no one else offered him (at least according to Rivals). Doesn't mean it won't work out, but others were apparently leery.

Probably right about the "leery" thing. Still, with our position in the peckin order, we have to take chances and hope that with added weight and strength and coaching along with hard work we end up with a steal. Being a Trojan fan is frustrating at times but, seldom boring.
