Dude cant stay vertical when wind blows past him! 03-lmfao

DURHAM, N.C. (AP)—Now this would be quite the Lambeau leap.

A Duke spokesman said Tuesday that former point guard Greg Paulus recently worked out for the Green Bay Packers in advance of the NFL draft.

Spokesman Art Chase said Paulus threw with Blue Devils receiver Eron Riley during a workout last week on campus.

Paulus was a star high school quarterback in Syracuse, N.Y., but hasn’t taken a snap since he was a senior in 2004 and focused on basketball at Duke.

The guy was a top tier QB prospect coming out of HS, but he chose to play b-ball at Duke.
Paulus will probably end up in the Arena Football League, he could become a star in that league. They accept whatever table scraps they can get.
This is kind of shocking. I know he was highly touted coming out of HS at the QB position, but who would waste a draft pick on him?

Well, the guy has got to know that the he is not going to make it in the NBA so he is looking for other alternatives. I'm not sure the NFL is a good one but at least he is trying.

I think he could make a good living as a sunscreen rep.....03-idea

He was one of the best HS QBs in the nation...this isn't surprisingly at all that he is at least being looked at.

Now will the Packers use a draft pick on him? I guess we'll see...
His athleticism did not dazzle and it has been a long time since the glories of high school.
I see it more of a chance for him to possibly get signed after not getting drafted. I find it highly unlikely he'd get drafted.

He might not be as athletic as a few guys on that Duke team, but he is definetely athletic. Could you imagine Favre playing basketball for Duke? I don't think he'd be anymore impressive.
i really dont think he will be playing in the nfl anytime soon, if he does it wont be as a qb
He must have looked at his NCAA stats and figured the slide in basketball will continue:

FR - 32.3 mpg
SO - 32.4 mpg
JR - 27.7 mpg
SR - 16.1 mpg

The Rapture will occur before Paulus takes a snap in the NFL
He has a year of eligibility left and is looking at playing at Michigan under Rodriguez, per ESPN.

wow, rich must be desperate.
He definitely made a mistake by picking basketball, but don't know if he would have been any better in football either. We'll probably never know.
