That makes me a little angry, but maybe at least they'll have to pay for parking, refreshments, or maybe a hotel room in the city. Still think stuff like this cheapens us. I know it's designed for Birmingham residents (potential UAB fans), but other CUSA schools will abuse stuff like this.
Baylor and their fans also know about it. Same free tickets offered for that game.
They're not even charging anything for mailing them to people. Let's hope we at LEAST make back our investment of postage on this thing.

Even if they do, I hope the tickets are for General Admission...that means Section 14, which is on the left-endzone side of the Home side.

You guys are great you give tickets away in order to get people to go to games. Man why does c-usa want you. Troy sells their tickets and has a great crowd. Don't even try and come back on this one either because Troy sold over 15,500 season tickets this year you guy are not even close to that. UAB want have a football program at the rate they are going are they want have a stadium one when it falls in.

1. I could care less if a Memphis or a Baylor fan gets a ticket through that promotion. The more the merrier.
2. I could care less if anyone wants to make fun of us because of the promotion. We will just beat their arse on the field and shut them up.
3. TROY STATE? WTF? At least we ARE wanted by a league other than the Sun Belt. Talk about a program blowing attendance figures out of proportion. I HAVE been to a TS? Game or two myself. You may have the worst fans in the entire NCAAs. At least a few Bama fans are literate and about 1/3 have manners. Let me know when you actually fill your expanded stadium which you have not done yet.
4. Heck I think I will register and get some free tickets and give them to a friend to introduce them to some Blazer Football. Who knows? They just might want to come back……

It's so blaring obvious that you guys are jealous of UAB because we are in CUSA and you are not. Now that's not saying CUSA is the best conference out there but it is far better than the SunBelt, which you just became a member of.
Get over your obsession and jealousy w/ UAB and everything we do.
