The men lost at Middle Tennessee, and reading on the Wolves board, the Ladies were down 9 points with 1:40 to go. The next post about twelve minutes later said, "Boyer ought to be fired tomorrow." I'm assuming that Hot Springs is going to be Wolve-less. That's gonna hurt the attendance for sure.

Not so bad since there will be less overalls and tabbacy chewin' and spittin' to be seen on the television broadcasts.

And fewer tractors in the parking lot.
I thought Brady was going to end up in our local ER. That guy has got to be on some serious blood pressure medicine.
I think that's standard meds for ANY coach that takes a job there.

It's unfortunate for Hot Springs that the Wolves are not in the Tournament. ASU fans travel much better than Trojan fans. It's strange how ASU was playing better than expected first half of season, then sort of collapsed. Maybe Brady will have his team back in the hunt next season. Also I thought for sure the Lady Wolves would be in the tournament.
I'll bet that there will be at least one Red Wolf in Hot Springs. I would guess that FANinLA will be there. He is a huge ASU fan, but also a basketball fan. He never misses a tournament, and I would bet that even though the Wolves won't be there, FAN will be. He lives in Bosser City, and I believe he told me he buys season tickets to Centenary and Louisiana Tech games. If ASU isn't playing, or the weather too bad to fly his plane, he makes one of the other places. I saw him at Centenary the last time we played down there. And, he's a very nice guy to boot. I'll bet Scotto would even like him.
I'm sure I would. I like a lot of hooves fans. I just don't like hooves.

I may end up coming just to fine you.

Hey, not all ASU fans are Rubes. I know some really great sports fans who are serious ASU fans who don't fit the description. You guys that don't fit the description need to work on the ones who do. I do hope that you some of you guys come to watch the tournament, but I know that will be tough, as your heart really wouldn't be in it without any of your teams there.
When the tournament was in Little Rock during the disaster of Moncrief's year, I went to the games after we got eliminated in the first round, but I wasn't that enthusiastic about it.

He really is a nice guy. I understand he lobbied for Mike Newell as the coach to replace Dickie Nutt. In view of what happened the last half of the season, I wonder if there were some who might be rethinking their choice. And they could have probably hired Newell for a lot less than Brady. With that said, I still believe Brady will turn it around in a year or two.

I have no doubt Brady will ge the job done. Someon told me the other day that good coaches win the close games we lost. I told them that if Brady wasn't a good coach we wouldn't have even been in the games long enough to end up being close at the end. Bottom Line we aren't very talented overall. I truly believe we will start seeing a difference next season.

I agree. Brady obviously is a good coach and an excellent recruiter. Looking at what his recruits did at LSU this year is proof. Even though he can't get the type of players at ASU that he recruited at LSU, he will get players that can win at this level.

He knows Newell as he hired him I believe for a semi-pro team in Shreveport he was involved in. No one but he and Dr. Wyatt..I think Wyatt hired him at UALR.. was interested in Newell....all are still very satisfied with Brady and didn't expect much out of this years team.
