really impressed with the play of Lionel Foster in the UNT game. He made a number of good passes to set up points. He isn't much of a shooter, but he can penetrate and dish. He make the other players around him better, which is the mark of a good point guard.
III also played a solid game, getting four steals, and made some great passes. He didn't score but 2 points, but we were getting the ball inside for easier shots. The team played together. Everyone was making good passes to teammates for scores.
We might not make the NCAA, but I think we're a better "team" without Stevie. No doubt he's a talented athlete, but he doesn't make the other players around him better. He was seemingly always looking to make all the plays himself. It will be interesting to see how things play out, but I wouldn't be surprised if we win the whole thing. Of course we could get knocked out in the first round. That's basketball biz!
